Diagrammatics of Time: The diagrams are visualisations of time was percieved in ancient hindu, jain and buddhist scriptures. Text interpreted from Romila Thapar's essay - Time as a Metaphor for History.

A diagrammatic is a language of shapes, objects, lines and contours. A diagrammatic connects. A diagrammatic shows. A diagrammatic mediates between what is there and not there.

The work here is produced during my studies at Aalto University, exploring texts through the language of diagrams. In these drawings diagrams are not simply explanatory devices. They are a sandbox for constructing meaning between words and experience.
